WOOD ITEMS.

In this section you will find all the items we stock that are made from wood.  These go from pieces of boxwood for treenails to barrels, ships wheels ans fish boxes. I hope you find what you are looking for in this section.

EUROPEAN BOXWOOD SHIPS WHEELS.

Here we have two sizes of boxwood ships wheel. These units can be stained if required or even painted.

WOOD PARRAL BEADS.

Here we have some very nicely made wood parral beads for making working parrals for use on the masts of traditional vessels.

BOXWOOD TREE NAIL MATERIAL PACKS. Limited stock, when they are gone they are gone.

We have been asked on many occasions if we could supply boxwood material for customers to make there own tree nails with. We are happy to say that we now do this for our customers and we now offer various packs of square boxwood for this purpose.

SOLID WOOD BALUSTERS.

Here we have a selection of very nicely turned solid wood balusters. These can be varnished or stained and varnished or painted if required. Use as balusters or if cut in half they can be used as table legs.  Available in four lengths:-

25.0 mm IN HEIGHT

30.0 mm IN HEIGHT

35.0 mm IN HEIGHT

LARGE SOLID WOOD BALLS - HARD TO FIND ITEM.

These solid wood balls are superbly turned and have a hole drilled through them. They have many uses in model making in various types of modelling from Doll's Houses to Model Trawlers etc. They can even be painted to make hemispherical units, ie modern radar domes etc.

WOOD BARRELS - HOLLOW.

These low weight hollow wood barrels are superb for fitment to either period ships or 20th century trawlers, carts indeed anywhere were a barrel would be found. Supplied in three pieces ie. the main body and two end caps. These units can be assembled and filled with various item to represent barrels full of goods. We even sell a barrel tap that is suitable for the large barrels.

 Please note the coin is for scale purposes only, it is not included with the barrels!!!!!!

BARREL TAP - METAL.

 These barrel taps are intended for use with our large barrels. They are nicely made and look the part once fitted. They can also be used in pairs to simulate 1930 - 1950 taps adjacent to a "belfast" sink coming out of the wall, or if you like from a  bulkhead on a vessel.

LOBSTER POTS - BOTH TRADITIONAL AND MODERN TYPES.

I will be producing more of my famous traditional and modern typw lobster pots in the near future, these are all handmade and are made to look slightly crooked with "rough" stiching in various coloured "rope". These units are priced at only £2.50 each for either type.

 

Please note that the pencil is not included with the pots!!!!
