DECK CARGOES AND FREIGHT.
In this section you will find those unusual items, some made in house, that are intended to inhance your model.
LOBSTER POTS.
Here we have our lobster pots, either modern or traditional these are all hand made. The netting is glued to the frame then "course" stitched to the frame normally with a contrasting colour of thread. This is done to creat a feeling of a genuine pot. We even go to the extent of bending some frames slightly to make them look as though they have been used. No two pots are ever exactly the same. These pots are very light hence a lot can be placed on a model without fear of overloading the model, unlike the resin pots available that tend to be very heavy.

LUMP COAL.
Here is what we feel is the finest representation of coal available. It looks and feels just like good quality lump coal but with out the weight. Superb for placing on any steam driven vessel or as a "mask" over a dummy load in a barge etc. Only £0.75p for 30 grams approx.
Example of lump coal, this is one complete pack.
COAL.
Here we have another type of coal, this time not quite as coarse, again it has dozens of uses in model making. Use on scratch built steam ships, launches, railways, coal sidings etc. Only £ 0.75p for 10 grams approx.
Example of coal, this in one complete pack.
CHARCOAL.
Here we have a wonderful charcoal, fine and uniform in concistence. This material is very good at replicating charcoal. Can be used to replicate charcoal in workmans huts for the stove, the same on ships stoves. Used in the 18th century aboard period ships for cooking. Can even be used on an imitation "barby". Only £ 0.75p for 10 grams approx.
Example of charcoal, this is one complete pack.
GRAVEL BALLAST.
Here we have a natural stone gravel in miniture, this is excellent material for replicating stone ballast in models as of course it is real stone. Very fine looks excellent in a barge as a "cargo" only a thin layers needs to be fitted over a dummy "load". Will also serve well as actual ballast in cut away period ships etc. Could even be bagged. Sold at only £ 0.50 a bag of 70 grams approx.
