FILAMENT BULBS.

Here you will find a large selection of filament bulbs that are used in various forms of model making. We stock a large number of bulbs in various voltages as well as bulb sizes and cable lengths. We also stock polyolefin heat shrink tubing kits, this is the finest type available, far superior to PVC heat shrink that normally tends to split and crack.

GRAIN OF WHEAT FILAMENT BULBS.

Here we have the standard modelling filament bulb, these we can supply in singles or in packs of five with either clear glass envelopes or coloured glass envelopes. These bulbs have a rated drain of 65ma.

Available in packs of five bulbs in either 6.0 volt ot 12.0 volt. Available in clear, red, green, blue, amber for £1.50 for 5 bulbs.

GRAIN OF WHEAT NAVIGATION BULB SETS.

Here we have a set of 6 bulbs, these are intended as a basic navigation light set. The set consists of 1 red, 1 green, 3 clear plus one free amber bulb for use in the bridge if required.  Other bulbs if needed are available from our range of grain of wheat bulbs.

GRAIN OF RICE FILAMENT BULBS WITH LONG LEADS.

Here we have the next size down from the standard modelling filament bulb, the grain of wheat bulb. These superb bulbs have low drain charactaristics, the 6.0 volt are rated at 50ma drain and the 12.0 volt bulbs are rated at 30ma drain, these figures are based on the manufacturers figures.

SUB MINITURE FILAMENT BULB, LONG LEAD.

Here we have what must be one of the smallest filament bulbs on the market today. These incredible little bulbs are as bright as a 12.0 volt bulb and only have an 18ma drain for a 3 volt bulb. This is incredible for a bulb of this size.

SUB - SUB MINITURE AXIAL BULB.

Here we have what the manufacturers claim to be the smallest working filament bulb in the world, there claim not ours. But in saying that they are probably right. The unit is shown in the picture below against a wooden tooth pick. 1.5 volt 15ma draw, the glass envelope is only 0.7mm in dia ( 30thou ).
